Senior Computer Vision Engineer
About the Role
Our clients need computer vision solutions that work in the real world - from quality inspection in manufacturing to document processing for financial services. We're looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to lead client engagements and build production-grade CV systems.
You'll work directly with clients to understand their visual AI needs, architect solutions, and deliver systems that process millions of images daily with high accuracy and reliability.
Recent projects our team has delivered:
- Real-time defect detection system processing 500+ images/second for automotive manufacturing
- Document understanding pipeline extracting structured data from 50+ document types
- Multi-camera tracking system for retail analytics with 99.2% accuracy
What You'll Do
- Lead computer vision projects from requirements gathering to production deployment
- Design and implement CV pipelines for object detection, segmentation, and classification
- Optimize models for production: latency, throughput, and accuracy trade-offs
- Build data pipelines for training data collection and annotation
- Deploy models to cloud and edge environments with proper monitoring
- Present technical solutions to clients and gather feedback
- Contribute to our internal CV toolkit and best practices documentation
- Mentor junior engineers on CV fundamentals and best practices
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of computer vision experience with production deployments
- Expert in PyTorch and computer vision architectures (YOLO, ResNet, Vision Transformers)
- Experience with OCR, document understanding, and multi-modal models
- Strong background in image processing, feature extraction, and object detection
- Experience optimizing models for edge deployment (TensorRT, ONNX, OpenVINO)
- Familiarity with MLOps practices: model versioning, A/B testing, monitoring
- Client-facing experience - you can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, EE, or related field preferred
What We Offer
- Base salary: $180,000 - $230,000 depending on experience
- Performance bonus up to 15% of base salary
